Sacramento authorities are looking into a gunfire incident that erupted Saturday evening at Howe Community Park just as deputies were shutting down an unauthorized event of an estimated several hundred individuals.
What Led to the Shooting
Deputies initially got calls about the Arden-Arcade park shortly before half past six in the evening after obtaining information of persons possibly in possession of concealed weapons. After that, a second caller reported concerning a reported physical confrontation unfolding at the location.
A sheriff's airship conducted an aerial sweep but could not confirm any ongoing fight. Despite this, it was apparent that an enormous crowd had gathered without authorization without any permit or approval.
When the Shots Rang Out

These discoveries indicated that a second shooter had been shooting in a southerly direction from the Cottage Way area targeting the Home Depot store. The nearby Home Depot was put under lockdown for a period of time. CSI investigators and detectives worked tirelessly late into the evening.
Arrests Made
Reports confirmed over scanner radio traffic showed that a Kia vehicle had been detained in Solano County. Four suspects were held get more info for questioning.
