Howe Park Shooting Leaves Four People Injured in Sacramento's Arden-Arcade

Sacramento authorities are looking into a gunfire incident that erupted Saturday evening at Howe Community Park just as deputies were shutting down an unauthorized event of an estimated several hundred individuals.

What Led to the Shooting

Deputies initially got calls about the Arden-Arcade park shortly before half past six in the evening after obtaining information of persons possibly in possession of concealed weapons. After that, a second caller reported concerning a reported physical confrontation unfolding at the location.

A sheriff's airship conducted an aerial sweep but could not confirm any ongoing fight. Despite this, it was apparent that an enormous crowd had gathered without authorization without any permit or approval.

Arrests Made

Reports confirmed over scanner radio traffic showed that a Kia vehicle had been detained in Solano County. Four suspects were held get more info for questioning.
